I was commissioned by Adobe Stock¬†ūüáļūüáł‚Äč‚Äč‚Äč‚Äč‚Äč‚Äč‚Äč at the end of 2022 to create a collection of inclusive illustrations (a total of 375 assets), exploring themes such as women empowerment, cultural diversity, healing and mindfulness.

My project ‚ÄúThe Best Version of Me/You‚ÄĚ consists of three parts, the first two celebrate the charm of multi-ethnic women¬†at different moments in their lives and how they cherish small things with joy and affection. I want to truly capture their kindness, inner beauty and elegance. I believe women can support and heal each other by showing compassion and giving back to their communities, together we can do bigger things such as protecting and restoring nature.¬†‚Ā†

I've added a taste of heritage to the last part of the collection, a personal and nostalgic touch to reconnect with my identity. You'll catch me eating a Hong Kong-style sausage bun in my kindergarten uniform or daydreaming with some goldfish on a hot summer afternoon. These are the fun things I remember so well outside the intense amount of schoolwork and exams. Spending my childhood in Hong Kong was pure bliss and a unique experience. The more I think about it now, it's quite important to preserve these tangible memories, cultures & languages.
